He has successfully handled various Technical and Commercial loss reduction strategies, Power Procurement Planning, and Performance Improvement distribution assignment in electricity distribution business across in India, Nepal, Philippines, Vietnam, South Africa, and Nigeria.
Career Profile
He has over 27 years of experience in the electricity industry with various best-in-class global organizations. In his past engagements, he spent around 8 years with one of India’s most experienced energy meter manufacturer as a customer support Engineer.
In his next engagement, Lalatendu spent over 10 years with PwC-India as a consultant and handled various assignments in electricity distribution utilities covering Energy Audit, MD metering and performance improvements and deployment of various IT tools. He left PwC-India in Nov-2013 as a Principal Consultant to Work with electricity distribution utilities in Nigeria.
In his recent engagements he has spent close to 8 years in distribution utilities of Nigeria Such as BEDC and IKEDC. During his last assignments with IKEDC he successfully managed and demonstrated significant loss reduction by implementing various metering strategies and strengthening of commercial processes. Lalatendu leads the team currently conducting an energy efficiency and utility turn around services for EKEDC.
